Start of the European competition for social innovation 2020 under the motto: “Redefine fashion: behavior change for sustainable fashion”
The European Commission announced the launch of the European Social Innovation 2020 Competition this week. The competition is advertised under the theme: “Redefine fashion: change of behavior for sustainable fashion”. This year's edition is looking for young and innovative projects that are changing the way we produce, buy, use and recycle fashion. The projects are also intended to promote a more sustainable change in consumer behavior. The competition is open to all participants from EU member states and the countries associated with Horizon 2020. The application period ends on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020. A jury will select three winning ideas in November, each of which will be awarded with 50,000 euros.
